You can search the Internet for affiliate programs that you are interested in, or use a search engine such as Google to search for them.

It’s faster to join an affiliate program that allows you to view thousands of programs at once.

You can view their market to see program rates, cookie durations and average EPCs.

What is an affiliate network?

Affiliate networks are intermediaries between merchants that sell products and affiliates that promote them.

Publishers (affiliates) have the option to search for brands (advertisers), and then join their programs from one location.

They allow brands to reach a wider audience by using the network for recruiting affiliates.

Other benefits are also available. You can compare commissions across different programs, receive prompt payment, and track all affiliate links in their affiliate platforms.

How can I select the best affiliate network?

Best High Paying Affiliate Programs 3

Your overall strategy and your product promotion goals will determine which networks you join.

These are the top considerations when choosing between the best.

1. There are many merchants within your niche.

While some networks are focused on specific verticals such as fashion and beauty products, others might have more B2B brands or business merchants. Bloggers should ensure that there are many merchants in your niche.

2. You must ensure that they are 100% free.

To join, you should never be required to pay. Networks make money by charging merchants set-up fees, monthly charges, and sometimes a portion of their affiliate revenue. Turn away from any network that charges you for membership.

3. Customer support is excellent.

While all networks offer some support, some are better than others. To make the right choice, you can review platform reviews and check out the features of the network.

4. High-paying merchants

Once you have found an affiliate network that matches your niche, you need to ensure you earn high commissions on your sales.

Remember, average affiliate commissions (depending on vertical) range from 5-30%. To maximize your earnings, you should do some math when you look at the merchants.

Which are the best affiliate networks?

These are my top picks for the most effective affiliate networks.

1. Impact.

Affiliates can join the network to apply for programs with top brands such as Uber, Adidas, Allstate, Allstate, and Airbnb.

Brands and advertisers can manage Impact:

  • Affiliate partnerships
  • Marketing partnerships with Influencers

It can be difficult to optimize channel partnerships. Impact’s technology simplifies partner programs under one roof.

If you’re a brand looking to create a partnership program, Impact is the best platform to use.

2. Shareasale

Shareasale Affiliate Network

Shareasale has over 3900 merchants and more than 1,000,000+ affiliates. They have been in business for over 19 years and are an industry leader.

Fashion, home and garden as well as food and drink are some of the top verticals they promote. There are many more.

CJ by Conversant Affiliate Network

CJ by Conversant, formerly Commission Junction, is an affiliate network that has existed in the industry since 2000. Their platform generates an amazing $15 billion annually in sales, and $1.8 billion is paid to affiliates each year.

CJ affiliates are a great way to partner with some the most iconic brands in the world.

CJ can help you partner with brands like Overstock and Office Depot, Priceline, GoPro and Lowes.

Publishers partner with major brands such as CNN, Time and Digg. This stiff competition can make it difficult for affiliates to be approved to work with larger merchants.

To work with them, you’ll need to be creative in your email outreach.

CJ is a great place to be a member, thanks to its easy setup, reliable monthly payments and excellent reporting.

If you are a seasoned affiliate and want to work with some of the world’s largest brands, join CJ by Conversant (formerly Commission Junction).

4. Rakuten LinkShare

Rakuten Affiliate Network

Rakuten, formerly known as LinkShare, is an affiliate network that has been in business since 1996. They are not as big as CJ By Conversant, despite being in business for longer than others.

They have over 1,000 merchants to choose, including many well-known brands such as New Balance, Pac Sun and Ray-Ban.

What makes them different? Rakuten’s user interface is intuitive and advanced.Deep linking. Tools and the ability to create rotating banners for promoting merchants

It is easy to set up your website. They also offer excellent transaction reporting and tutorial videos that will help you get started and maximize your revenue.

There are some drawbacks. They don’t have nearly as many merchants.

This can make it difficult to sell to a variety of brands. You may need to join another network to increase your income.

They also have irregular payment plans, which means that you may not be able to earn the same commissions every month. These are not deal-breakers but they are worth noting.

If you are an affiliate who has been on larger platforms and would like to grow your reach, consider joining the Rakuten network.

What does recurring payment mean?

Recurring payments are not only made once but continue to be paid as long as the commissioned user remains a paying customer.

Because of their customer retention rate, recurring income programs pay monthly commissions. Recurring programs are usually software as a Service (SaaS), which requires a monthly subscription.

Monthly subscriptions have a higher lifetime value than the monthly sales price because customers continue to pay each month until they churn.

This means that the advertiser has two options: either a higher one-time price or a lower recurring percentage over the life of the customer.

Affiliates love both recurring and one-time payments. However, there are pros and disadvantages to each.

Pros and cons of one-time payout

Pro : A larger upfront payment may be required, which can sometimes amount to 500-1,000% of your monthly subscription cost.

Con : Your affiliate revenue stream is inconsistent and you may earn less over the life of the customer.

The Pros and Cons of Recurring Commission

Pro : You can predict how much money you will make each month if you generate consistent revenue each monthly. If the customer is a lifetime customer, you could also make more. Low churn rates, High retention rates

Con : You pay a lower amount upfront, but the customer may churn quickly, thereby reducing your earnings.

Remember that there are fashion platforms such as Shop style Collective and Reward Style to help you find trendy products to promote.

The fashion affiliate company you choose should be able to match your style and brand.

Pinterest Affiliate Marketing Programs

Affiliate Programs for Pinterest

Affiliate marketers have the option to place affiliate links directly in their Pinterest pins, instead of having to go through their blogs.

This update has led to an increase in affiliates making money online, without the need for a lot of traffic.

This also opened up the possibility for fashion, beauty and lifestyle influencers to reach more of the 200 million+ Pinterest users.

With 29% of U.S. adults using Pinterest and 93% of Pinners saying they use Pinterest to plan purchases, it is a lucrative way to generate affiliate revenue.

It is a great idea to join an affiliate network that sells products that are similar to what users use on Pinterest.

Popular categories on Pinterest include food and drink, DIY, home decor, women’s fashion, and health and fitness.

These are some networks that you can join to Pinterest

1. Amazon Associates.

Your Pinterest pins can be used to sell any Amazon product directly. To be approved if you are located in the US, you must have a website/blog. Earn up to 10% on more than one million products

They can also help you promote products on your website with banners and post links. They are not a network, but they offer a wide range of products.

An additional benefit is that if you link to a product using your Amazon affiliate link you receive credit for any product that the user buys in that session.

You can also get credit up to 90 days after they add a product in their cart.

Notable mention : You can promote more than 1.1 billion listings through affiliate links.

You can earn as much as 50% to 70% on eBay. You make revenue if a user makes a purchase within 24 hours after an eBay visit.

2. Shareasale.

Shareasale has over 3,900 merchants across verticals such as fashion, home and gardening, food and drink and software.

For example, you could work with a home decor merchant like Minted and make 20% on all sales.

If food and drink is more your cup of tea (or glass of wine), promote Winc Wine and earn $18 for every transaction. There are many opportunities with their vast merchant base.

3. SendOwl.

You can become a content creator, and then sell ebooks and courses online directly through Pinterest. SendOwl integrates seamlessly with three of the most popular membership sites so you can also sell memberships.

4. ShopStyle Collective.

This fashion site offers a wide range of accessories and clothing products. You will find an intuitive user interface, reporting tools and useful ways to grow your audience.

What are Affiliate Programs?

Affiliate programs allow an online merchant to pay an affiliate website a commission on any sales made through their referral traffic.

To track transactions, the affiliate website will place affiliate links that point to the merchant’s website. The commission structure and payment information are included in every agreement between an affiliate website and a merchant.

What Are Affiliate Programs

There are three major parties:

  • The merchant. A retailer might sell products, for example.
  • Affiliate. A product review website that links to the retailer’s products.
  • Visit the affiliate website, click the link to the retailer’s site and purchase the product.

How do I join affiliate programs?

There are two main types of programs.Self-hosted and affiliate programs.

Self-hosted programs are hosted on the company’s site and include software tools for affiliate marketing. These can be found by searching “Brand + Affiliate Programme”, finding the program page and filling out an application form.

A program can also live in affiliate networks, which are a group of merchants who offer their links in one place.

These networks allow you to join new programs in various verticals, see reporting, see your commissions and grab your affiliate links for your site.

There are two options: manual or automatic approvals. Some programs allow anyone to apply, while others only accept applicants who meet certain benchmarks. A lot of programs require that you apply to an Affiliate Manager in order for them to review it manually.

What are the requirements to join affiliate programs?

To join, you need a website and a way to receive money – either a PayPal account or bank account. You can still participate by posting links to social media but this is best for social media influencers with high-end profiles. I recommend that you have a website.

It is a good idea to have a professional-designed website that has an SSL certificate installed for HTTPS. A business email address should be connected to your domain. You also need a PayPal account.

What are the Top Paying Affiliate Programs for You?

Paying Affiliate Programs

First, you need to be aware of the average order value (AOV) and commission rates. Remember that higher rates equals more affiliate revenue. Next, consider the cookie duration as well as potential earnings per click (EPC).

These are the four most important things to look out for when looking at high-paying programs.

1. Commission rate

A percentage of a sale funded by an advertiser for an affiliate to refer a customer. This percentage can be as low as 1% up to 50%.

2. Average order value (AOV).

Amount spent on average every order. Divide your total revenue by the number order to calculate AOV.

3. Earnings per Click (EPC).

Affiliate income is the amount an affiliate makes for each click on an advertiser’s site via an affiliate link. This definition is misleading, as EPC actually calculates the amount for 100 clicks.

4. Cookie duration.

A cookie is a small amount of data that is stored on a user’s computer. It is used to track sales from affiliates. The cookie’s duration is how long it stays on your computer after you click an affiliate link.

This means that affiliates will receive credit for any sale made by users who click on an affiliate link within the 30-day cookie period.

It’s not worth making a 5% commission for a $10 pair socks. It’s just $0.50

Alternately, you could earn a 8% commission on a $1200 treadmill and make $96. Your affiliate website can only generate as much traffic each month so you should only promote products that offer an EPC.

The last metric you should be looking for is a long cookie duration. The average Standard cookie lifespan is 30 days. Programs can be as short as 7 days or as long as 90+ days. Programs with longer cookie duration I recommend are more common.

You want high payouts, high AOV and long cookie durations.

Affiliate Marketing Tips.

Affiliate Marketing Trends (2019)

Affiliate marketers shouldn’t be limited to these four concepts. They should also not blindly recommend any product based on their high affiliate payouts.

1. Promote the products that you are passionate about and have a deep understanding of.

Web users are quick to spot fake recommendations and seek out real-world experiences. It is therefore important to be honest with product reviews.

Affiliate marketing is growing exponentially and this year will not be any different. Affiliate marketing accounts for 16% of all online orders.

How can you keep up with the latest market trends and be a part of the most lucrative affiliate programs?

2. Research emerging categories.

Currently, fashion is the most popular affiliate marketing category, with 18.7% of campaigns, followed by sports, and health and wellness.

Potential emerging markets for affiliates include virtual reality (VR), Internet of Things, 3D printing, wearable tech and drones.

Dating affiliate marketing is another option if you are a budding relationship expert or love guru.

Dating sites are now leveraging affiliates to promote their apps and increase users.

3. The number of mobile networks is increasing.

Mobile affiliate marketing and CPA networks are another popular trend. Push notification companies and affiliate networks for mobile CPA help push traffic to mobile apps and platforms.

Best Affiliate Programs Summary

There are many high-ticket categories that will match your interests, so no matter what affiliate program you choose, there is an option for you.

When choosing a program to work with, be sure to look at the commission rates, average order value (AOV), average earnings/click (EPC) and cookie durations.

Also, consider whether the program has recurring or one-time payments.

Choose a niche that you are passionate about and choose it.

The opportunities for affiliate marketing are endless.

The first step in building an affiliate website on WordPress is important.

First, you should create an affiliate website. Get started with Bluehost for 63% off, or just $2.95/month.
